About Me: Dr. Emilia Moreno Ruiz has been focusing her career on data for sustainability metrics for the past 16 years, most of them working for the ecoinvent association, where she is today the Chief Technical Officer. As such, Emilia is responsible for the ecoinvent database strategy and leads the database team in charge of the developments, content creation and maintenance of the ecoinvent database. She also oversees the research and development efforts around the database.

The ecoinvent database is one of the most used Life Cycle Inventory (LCI) databases, providing scientifically sound, transparent, and quality-assured datasets that quantify the environmental impacts, resource consumption, and emissions associated with thousands of industrial and agricultural processes, and the respective supply chains.
