About Me: Over 18 years of international experience in operations finance, project management and corporate sustainability having worked for large technology companies (hardware and software) and educational institutions. Shalini joined VMware in 2015 and leads strategic company priorities such as science-based target, waste management and is responsible for execution across India, EMEA and APAC. Prior to VMware she worked for Stanford University leading carbon accounting, sustainable IT program and demand side energy management. She has successfully driven strategic and tactical goals across functional teams in diverse sectors demonstrating influence, leadership and unbridled passion. Shalini is a technologist at heart and a trained Architect (building not software!) with an MBA from San Jose State University.
