About Me: Peter is Digital Birth Registration Advisor at Plan International Kenya. He is leading last mile enhancement and improvement of Civil Registration and Vital Statistics System through integration of a mobile App interface in Kenya. Peter is has technical expertise in technical assessment in Civil Registration and Vital Statistics with a keen interest on use of digital technologies to strengthen Civil Registration and Vital Statistics System (CRVS) to address registration barriers.

He is experienced in Mobile Apps development in area of child protection and data collection that has won various awards. He is a UNICEF ESARO pre-screened rostered expert in Civil Registration & Vital Statistics, ICT for Development and Child Protection Systems.

Peter holds a Master of Science in ICT for Development (MSc ICT4D), Bachelor’s Degree in Education (BEd) and currently pursuing a Master of Arts (MA) in International Development. He is a Project Management for Development Professionals (PMD Pro). Has a keen interest on mobile Apps design with user process
