About Me: An economist by training, Nazila leads the Knowledge Management and Partnerships work for the Business Call to Action (BCtA), a UNDP hosted initiative.

Previously, Nazila was a Programme Analyst at UNDP Africa, where she worked on SMEs development, regional economic integration, agricultural value chain, informal economy and entrepreneurship. She also worked as an Economist in the Private Sector team with Coffey International Development, a leading UK-based consulting firm that focuses on coordinating and managing donor funded projects globally. She has experience in inclusive economic growth, specialising in inclusive business, impact management, market systems approaches, women's economic empowerment, and value chain development.

She holds a BA in Economics and International Relations from the University of Geneva and an MSc in Development from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London. She is currently completing a Certificate of Advance Studies in Gender and Economic Development Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies. She speaks French, English, Italian and Farsi.
