About Me: I joined the Direct Equity Investments team at CDC in November 2014 where I run the Impact Accelerator programme.

Previously, I spent two years as VP Sustainability at Barry Callebaut, the world’s largest cocoa and chocolate company. While at Barry Callebaut Daudi put in place the foundations for the build-up of sustainable supply chains as well as buying and integrating three smaller cocoa bean origination companies in Tanzania, Ivory Coast and Sierra Leone.

Before this I spent 20 years as a business development manager for Cargill across a range of agricultural and industrial commodities across several continents. I've also held a number of other roles including a well-side geologist, a school teacher and manager of a transport company operating 60, 30 ton Mercedes rigs between Durban and Dar es Salaam.

I have degrees in both Geology and Biology.
