About Me: Trine Pertou Mach: Head of International Alert’s department of Economic Development for Peace. She has 15 years of experience in development and human rights, working with government and local municipalities, civil society and private sector. She has a strong profile on gender, power, political economy analysis and business and human rights and vast experience with management and advisory leadership, civil society organisation and representation in a large variety of societal contexts. Trine is experienced in engaging with public authorities and facilitation of dialogue between sectors and different stakeholders at local, national and international levels. From the European Union, Parliament of Denmark and the Nordic Council of Ministers, she has hands-on experience with advocacy, policymaking and legislative processes. Trine holds an MA in Political Science from University of Aarhus, Denmark.
