About Me: Andrew Papachrysou has been the Procurement Director of Nomad Foods since January 2017 managing a total spend of €1.3bn, of which 40% is derived from Fish. He has spent over 20 years in the FMCG Food & Drink industry, starting his Supply Chain career at Britvic Soft Drinks and working his way through a range of international and local procurement roles at Heinz, Premier Foods and currently Nomad Foods. In his previous role he was Sourcing Director for Fish for Nomad Foods, where he led the sourcing, supplier development and CSR commitments of the business.

In the last year he has been transforming and leading the procurement team, supporting and executing the business turnaround of Nomad Foods which now has delivered seven quarters of continuous growth. This in part has been achieved by modernising and optimising Nomad Foods’ sourcing through global platforms, continuously benchmarking costs to ensure the most competitive cost base that always ensures Nomads sourcing is aligned to consumer trends.

Andrew is a passionate advocate of Fish and its relevance for modern lifestyles, and Nomad Foods is a strong supporter of CSR programmes (such as the Marine Stewardship Council), executing through Great People, Great Brands and Great Suppliers whilst always ensuring quality, service and competitive costs that continues to delight our consumers, Andrew is married with 3 Fish Finger loving children, and supports Arsenal.
